February Lip of the Day

For the month of February, I challenged myself to wear a different lipstick each day. I posted each look in my Instagram Story that day. I tried to pick as many different brands, finishes, and shades as I had in my collection. The funny thing is I could probably do multiple months of wearing a different lip product each day... I didn't even come close to maxing out my collection! There are also a few formulas that I have in multiple shades. Thats the life of a makeup lover, I guess! How to get the most out of Drunk Elephant skincare products

I will start by saying that I absolutely love the Drunk Elephant products that I have been using. My favourite Drunk Elephant products are C-Firma Day serum, Shaba Eye Serum, TLC Sukari Babyfacial, and Umbra Tinte physical daily defense. I bought most of my DE products during the Holiday VIB sale in November, so many have been recently running out one by one. Purchasing a clean, high quality skincare routine can be quite the investment, so it's best to get the most out of it when you can! The products are packaged in Instagram-worthy white plastic containers with various coloured lids depending on the product. This packaging is genius for many reasons: It looks amazing on your vanity The serums and lotions are housed in airless pump mechanisms to reduce the oxidation of your products The packaging is completely opaque, so light-reactive ingredients will not spoil as they would when housed in something transparent The pump twists in and out of ...

Last month I went to the Bite Beauty Lip Lab on Queen Street W in Toronto to create my own lipstick shades. The experience was a Christmas gift from my Sister-in-Law, and I was so excited to go! My trip to LA with Pixi Beauty and Dulce Candy!

I recently visited Los Angeles, California to visit the Pixi Beauty Boutique! A few months ago, I entered a giveaway they were running to promote the Pixi Pretties collection that they released for spring in collaboration with Dulce Candy , Weylie , and Chloe Morello . Amazingly, I was contacted by Pixi and found out that I had won! The prize included a makeover at their Venice Beach boutique, followed by a photoshoot and a meet and greet with Dulce Candy, one of my favourite Youtubers! There was a giveaway winner selected for each of the #PixiPretties collaborators. I went at the end of May and had such a wonderful time! #FabFinds: Anastasia Beverly Hills at Marshalls and Winners

If you have been to a Winners or Marshalls store lately (or TJ Maxx in the States), you may have notice an influx of high-end beauty brands. Specifically, I have seen items from Anastasia Beverly Hills, Too Faced, Kat Von D, Kevin Aucoin, MAC, Bobbi Brown, Lipstick Queen, Dior, Burberry, and more. Not to mention a wide range of fragrance, skincare, and haircare. These products are the real deal - they are usually from past seasons or overstock. The trouble with purchasing makeup products at these stores can be due to hygenic issues. Often time when you find a coveted item, it has been opened and swatched. Some products are easy to tell if they have been dipped into, such as cream products or powders. Some products, like liquid lipsticks or mascara, are not. Colourpop Ultra Blotted Lip Review & Swatches: Deja Vu, Candyfloss, Zuma, Cherry On Top

ColourPop recently launched two new lip formulas, the Blotted Lip and the Ultra Blotted Lip . The Blotted Lip was originally introduced with the Alexis Ren Collection in February, and the Ultra Blotted Lip is new for Summer 2017. I purchased Deja Vu when the Alexis Ren collection launched, and immediately loved the formula. When I heard the were expanding the line and even introducing a liquid version, I had to try them! Clockwise from top right: Zuma Ultra Blotted Lip, Deja Vu Blotted Lip, Cherry on Top Ultra Blotted Lip, Candyfloss Blotted Lip. Lets start with the blotted lips. Makeup News: Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture Palette + Swatches

Anastasia Beverly Hills has finally released official photos of the brand new Subculture palette. The palette is part of their Fall 2017 collection and is set to release on July 25, 2017. Photos of this palette were leaked on Reddit about two months ago, and set the internet on fire! Apparently a friend of an ABH employee stole her prototype and leaked the photos. I'm glad ABH has made their press release, on their own terms, in the form of an instagram post . The brand stated that their instagram account, created in 2012, has always been a place for makeup lovers to come together and celebrate the subculture that is beauty. They created this palette with that subculture of beauty junkies in mind. It has been rumoured for months that the brand was creating a "sister palette" to the amazingly popular Modern Renaissance palette, which took the beauty community by storm last summer. Biolage RAW Haircare Review

I was recently sent products from Biolage's RAW collection to try and review. The Raw subdivision of the Biolage line boasts natural ingredients, and a formula that is free of silicones, parabens, and sulfates, and is also vegan. I was sent the Colour Care shampoo and conditioner, as well as a protective heat styling primer. The featured ingredients in these products are coconut milk and meadowfoam seed oil.
